The built-in agent costs what OpenRouter billed for each request plus a flat 15%, which covers OpenRouter's fees, card processing and requests that fail after they're billed. Your own ChatGPT or Claude can run the whole editor on the plan you already pay for. We run the company lean, so the subscription is enough.
The one-minute cut. BitterClip's founder, Michael Ruescher, recorded a conversation about quitting a twelve-year job to build bitter.sh. This one-minute vertical cut came out of it, made in BitterClip. BitterClip's agent made the first cut; the edit can be revised in plain words or in the transcript, and the 9:16 version is one tap.

Async's terms grant a perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to store, copy, modify, and distribute your AI Input and Output — for running the platform, for research and development, and "to improve our services and those of the third party AI providers." Getting out of the AI-training use means sending the company a message.

It's Async. The rebrand landed January 28, 2026, and podcastle.ai now redirects to async.com. The company says accounts, projects, pricing, and billing carry over unchanged, with enterprise positioning and a developer voice API added on top.
Podcastle earned its users. It gets a guest on the line from a browser tab and records each person locally, with uncompressed WAV and up to 4K on Pro, uploaded as the call runs so a bad connection can't wreck the tracks. If getting a remote guest recorded is your problem, use it.
